"Friend" steals xbox 360 at party, then stabs everyone

James S. Harris, 20, was attending a party at a friend's home in Platte City, Missouri last year when he suddenly got the bright idea to steal their stuff. Why? Because that's just the kind of friend James Harris is. He was caught trying to steal their stereo equipment...

Then the party hosts found their Xbox in the trunk of his car. When they confronted him, Harris apparently understood that he was in deep shit. But instead of pleading stupidity -- or at least making a run for it -- he decided to stab the female host three times. He also stabbed and man who tried to intervene.

Unfortunately for Harris, there were just too many people at the party to stab them all. They were able to subdue him. And as you can see from his booking photo, they might have accidentally smashed their fists into his head a time or two. He was found lying face down on the sidewalk when police arrived.

The stabbed woman was lucky to be alive. Harris knifed her in the kidney and liver. The male victim was stabbed in the hand and got blood poisoning from his wound.

Now Harris has been convicted on assault and theft charges. He could face life in prison when he's sentenced.

 

That's just beyond stupid..insane.

Stereo and 360? I'd somewhat understand if it was a ps3 and a nice surround sound.

That's not as bad as the group of people that were killed over an Xbox that happened just north of Orlando in Deland (redneck town) a couple of years ago.


Group of... thug wannabes killed their friend and his roommates over his Xbox. They severely beat up the girl and guy roommate that it took forensics 3 weeks to ID them all.

 

What is it with the XBox that makes people see red?
