Why go through the trouble of changing his name, he's never going to post anything of any value. Just ban the guy already.

Personally, I think the "Free Speech" announcement and "New moderation" policy are useless. Things were going fine before. So, two members got upset and left because of some personal issues, they could have brought those things forward at any time. There's nothing we can do about that, and I don't think changing long running policies is going to help much.

As for skitzo leaving, ha who cares? He was mostly useless. I know he helped during the DDOS attack, but he was still very childish. His new actions are proving this point.

I say we ditch this new system, and go back to the way things were before. A clear cut, well defined system of moderation and "idiot punishment." Trash like S.Guard shouldn't be here, and we have usually been pretty good about keeping people like that away. It seems like this whole "Free Speech" thing is hurting the forums instead of helping.

I don't know about anyone else, but I never felt "suppressed" under the old system.

 

I'm beginning to get the impression that S. Guard is the embodiment of Concura's pent up rage towards our aversion to his sales technique.

I never had a problem with the old system either, but I will live with the new. Although I think we need to clarify how we go about voting someone out when most of us are unable to post new topics in the abuse forum. And for the record, the two aforementioned users need to go.

Having an open "ban plz" button doesn't seem too good an idea...

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to point out flaws. Nor do I want it to be an easy process to ban whoever I feel like. And hell I realize that if we all had open access to start topics in the abuse thread it would be 'for lack of a better term' abused.

Is there any way we could take advantage of the user reputation feature and if a user gets down to a certain level then a poll is opened such as the one for Shadowlayer?

I don't even know if that is possible as I do not know how the reputation feature works, but it's a thought. I'll keep thinking though.

In fact, I haven't caused this forum any problems in quite a while, and I haven't done anything drastically different under the new moderation policy... so I don't know where you're coming from.

 

PM Harassment is never well deserved, my good friend. I thought you'd be gone along with JTI2K that one previous time, even before the PM against Wolvie, but you had better luck than him.

I have no opinion about that JTI2K business anymore, but I did find it odd at the time. But really, people should stop messing with WolverineDK. He's a good fellow.

 

Sending one PM in my own defense isn't exactly harassment, but you don't know the whole story "friend", and with that we will let this drop because it's way old and is a matter that was already resolved.

 

Defense? More like quite the opposite. Fact of the matter is, you crossed the line 3 times before, during the old moderation policy and got off. What is wrong with that picture? And it is not just me, it other people here who feel the same way, too. And by the looks of it, you'll continue acting like this and say 'it was in defense'.

How can you say it wasn't in my own defense when you don't even know the whole story behind it? All this stupid crap happened ages ago, ASSEMbler has already contacted me and the issues have already been resolved. Again, this all happened a while back.

Again, I haven't caused any disturbances on the forum in a while, so I still don't know where you're coming from.

As for crossing the line and getting of the hook, I know I crossed the line. Also, I know I got away with it! I don't know how, but it happened! Assembler contacted me himself and said I was walking a thin line, so I laid low for a while and came back with a different attitude. I haven't done anything wrong since then.

Sorry, I'm just sick of people bringing up these old (and what I thought dead) issues, and accusing me of things when they don't know the entire story.
