There is free voice in this forum.

You're entitled to IM/PM/E-mail me if you have issues.
You also have to remember that I and the mods have
careers and aren't on every five minutes.

Just because you're wired into the net, doesn't mean everyone
else is. You have to give anything 12-24 hours

You can say whatever you like, but remember that common sense,
real life guidelines for tact and basic politeness still apply here.

If you're abbrasive or set out to get people riled up,
you may be ignored, or your reputation may diminish.

This whole area started because people felt they were
    being restrained.

Now you have a chance to speak up.

With that statement, this are will not be moderated except for:

Obvious trolling or "poisonous person" behavior.

i.e. posting "I hate all fag let's kill them" or similar lines of discussion.

I can say anything in this thread?

I secretly harbor the desire to masturbate on a grassy median during rush hour.

Not really, but hey, I'll get the ball rolling. Seriously, I assume this is about all the bitching going on lately... of which I have no idea how it started, ended, or anything inbetween. It's like walking into a house where everyone's pissed off, and nobody says what happened. From the looks of it, just sounds like Assembler got hounded over some childish bullshit.

Can anyone else other than the sender and the receiver read PMs? If yes, then why?

News to me, and I wouldn't do it, it's unethical.

Just checked, there's no option for browsing pm messages.

Given the line of questioning, I guess someone is thinking I'm reading their pms?

Time to take the tinfoil hat off, and to stop looking for government helicopters.
    You're just paranoid.

Hmm I have never used vbulliten . It is an option in phpbb and invision based boards .

I just assumed the admin would be able to view pm's in order to determine if someone was spamming users on the boards and such .

Are you sure it is ussually in the mass pm sub-section .

Just statistics on how many messages they have stored, and the ability to clear a users account of all pms.

There isnt any way for admins to read PM's with Vbulletin unless someone released a hack out there.

    It's what it means.

I don't have access unless I change your password and log in as you.

    Which as I stated, I won't do.

Yeah, Sally :Girl: did confirm it. It probably wont if the admin changes your email, but youll have to confirm it and therefore the old one will get notified of that.

Wait, the admin can read my Pms? Total invasion of privacy, man!

    Nah, just kidding.

On another paranoid thing: Does the Admin know our passwords, or can only change them?

    can only change them.

I reset Sally walkabout's user privs and password so she'd have to get a new cookie
and wouldn't be able to see what she wasn't supposed to.
