hey id like to get a XenoGC Chip, a Aladdin XT Chip, and maybe a sega CD Bios Chip, but i have a few questions, Do you happen to sell Gamebits?, 2 Can i take a look at the Aladdin XT install diagram andlast but not least, do you happen to have the NTSC-U Sega CD v2.00 model 2 bios thats region free? i heard the japanese bios works with all games... but the american one doesnt? did they fix that or?. The issue with the US/EU bios is that is lacks the japanese fonts as far as I know. So the only way to get best compatibility is to use the jap bios.

What version of xbox are you installing the aladdin into?

And I do not sell gambits, but I may look into it.

 

i havent opened my xbox yet but it has the manufacture date of July 2003, so im guessing v1.2-v1.4?.

Edit: i guess ill hold off on the sega cd bios. it would just be out of place if my sega cd booted up and it said mega cd (OCD).

Edit: just did some more research and it looks like its most likely to be a V1.4

 

Solder in pin header
Solder a wire as shown for BT (this is "always on")



connect D0 on the motherboard to ground (google your motherboard version to find where d0 is)
insert modchip into pin header.

gamecube is like the sega cd in a sense also. english bios mode some games have issues with.
If an ntsc console fitting a language switch fixes that. time saver done while you've opened the console anyway.

 

is there a guide?

 

Its to do with the fonts not being in the PAL bios.

 

so the NTSC consoles should be just fine no?

 

NTSC consoles are fine if you fit the switch (to switch between US and JPN bios)

fitted a va1 dc with link83 bios - works fine


problem i have is the onechip i ordered came on a little board
do you have install diagrams for these ?

 

Top left is pin 1

Then it goes down 2, 3, 4 - just the same as a DIP pic chip. Use the same diagrams that are all over the internet.

yeah jpn mode lets you save in games like radirgy. fixes corrupt text for rockman exe, sonic mega collection, etc.

also changes text language in us star fox adventures.
