Can the SuperCIC run a PAL Secret of Mana on a NTSC machine? I have a region mod wired and is the only game I can't play on my NTSC console.

Do you have a 50/60 hz switch? Some PAL games block 60hz, so breaking lockout alone will still not load such titles. (I don't know about Secret of Mana however)

Even if they're 1.0 you can easily update them with xenogc sourcecode package. It has .elf updaters for every version of xenogc firmware (including some beta versions).

    edit:

is it possible to use the superCIC along the IRG hack? I assume you need a second PIC for that, right? it come handy with both my powerpak and upcoming sd2snes , too lazy to get up from my chair :wink-new:

    The XenoGC is not solderless.

Far as I remember (or have had experience with...) there is no solderless chip for the GC.

Take it its the same one, did read on another forum (think it was Amibay, but it was a old post) that soldering it in place is optional.

    Anyway.

You have to solder it in. Its not optional.

I think you are getting it confused with the wire install vs quick solder points.

You can optionally solder it in directly or you can run wires to it. Either way, needs soldering).

Shipping is £2 within the UK.
