My goal is to collect every fighting game on every console ever made. Mainly I collect Japanese and buy US/EU games only if they are exclusive to these regions. But sometimes I make exceptions for my favorites and buy them in all 3 regions.

And of course vs fighting is not the only type of games I collect, but it the most important, the heart of collection. Then goes beat-em-ups/action, some shmups and must have classics of course.

I've been collecting for about 3 years and it may seem like a long time but it's very hard to collect japanese games in Russia))

I dont collect sports games like boxing or wrestling cause it's not exactly fighting games. Although I do buy some that I like.

When I collect all, I will make a web page about this collection with a small review about each fighting game on each platform (maybe like segagagadomain).

My collection is a work in progress, I buy something every couple of days, so I didnt try to picture everything this time. Of course I will make good photos of each game when I finish, but as for now I just made some pics of random, mostly japanese part of my collection, hope you will enjoy it)

Japanese PS1. More than 110 fighting games and I still need about 20 to complete it - this system had the largest amount of fighting games in video game history.

Japanese Saturn Games (one of my favorite system, but missing Final Fight to complete its fighting games section)
    Some favorites games
    [IMG]

Pc-Engine (all the vs fighting games are here.. but I still need Renny Blaster)

Favorite shooters on the system (missing Sylphia)
Hu-card games that I play really a lot)

PC-FX (yes, two most important and expensive games missing)

3DO - not all, but most of the fighting games
    [IMG]

Neo Geo CD - its an easy platform to collect. No really rare or expensive titles.

Japanese Mega CD and Dreamcast were the easiest to collect all fighters
    [IMG]

SuperFamicom is a real beast! I have more than 100 games and a lot left to collect!

Japanese MegaDrive is much easier, but I'm still lacking a couple of games
    [IMG]

    A box with Famicom carts

    Random pics from inside

And this is the most original fighting game I met

Some older formats with a couple of fighting games on them

For me primal rage was the hardest to get fighter on Jaguar
    [IMG]

CD-i has only two of them - that's easy to collect))

Amiga CD32 - one of the most rare games on the system is Surf Ninjas - right now it's on the way to me from UK
    [IMG]

    Pippin with two playable games))

New A'Can, but with a destroyed box (by China Mail mostly)

    Amstrad GX4000
    [IMG]

And this beast I literally found in a suburban amusement park in Russia - together with Metal SLug inside it cost me only 100$ + transportation.

And now guys, I need to ask for help!

I NEED TO BUY THIS GAMES (I really cant live without getting them and I totally tired of checking ebay because it doesnt help):

    3DO - Eye of Typhoon
Amiga CD32 - Brutal paws of Fury (big box)
Super A'can - any complete game
    Pippin - Shockwave

Please, help me to find them))

That's a pretty sweet collection. You do realize that shmups are not fighting games, right?

    Yes))

As I said, my main goal is to collect all fighting games. But of course when I start to collect games on a particular console I begin to search for good games in other genres on it. So of course I buy something else and 2D shmups is another genre I love))

Is it hard to get imported games in Russia? I seem to recall another member saying it was.

Well it's not that hard, but there ABSOLUTELY NO retro/import game shops in Russia. Not a single one. And even on the flea markets it's impossible to find anything. So in Russia the only way is to use ebay. Most Japan sellers ship to Russia without problems, but many EU/US sellers refuse to ship here.

    Thanks everyone!

Cozumel, I just checked the thread with your collection.. it's amazing!! Especially Master System games and Vectrex!

Its a 2 disc compilation of DOA and DOA2 for the xbox - USA and Japanese releases. First one is just like the original arcade game I guess and the second one is made exclusively for xbox - the most complete and advanced second part of the game. In the Japanese version there were also some collector cards as I remember.

I have ultimate but it only came in a single DVD case with a middle holder. Does that come with two separate cases?

    Officially - yes:[IMG]

Two standard single dvd cases, each with a manual, collectors cards and cardboard cover.

Thanks! Yeah, AES games are tough to collect - I've got only about 15 of them for now..

Thanks for taking the picture, looks like the PAL release didn't get those cards :( or the separate cases.
