Wasn't sure where to post this exactly... Sorry mods if I chose incorrectly...

I used to play my Famicom Disk System all the time about 5 years ago. The red shoebox has recently been collecting dust until I got a new disk try on it.

I plugged everything in and powered on my NES. The NES light is shining bright, but the FDS has no power light coming on. It has been so long since I have used the unit that I can't remember if I have to do something else to make it work.

Any troubleshooting help would be much appreciated!

I have the power adapter for the FDS. Maybe some capacitor or something blew inside the unit. :crying:

The NES / Ram adaptor should give you an error message, if it's something like 'batt err.' you should check the AC-Adapters connection, else there might be something more funky. But you could try with batteries, maybe the AC is busted, better that than the system.
