WTF did I miss here? Usualy these go for <$150 and this one needs a disc drive. [MODERATOR NOTE: Read the first post!]
Whew...good thing I bought the exact same thing last week for $28! They really skyrocketed in price in one week! Bonus points since he describes item as "looks like it was just taken out of shrink wrap"..who knew Box's delaminated in the shrink wrap?
In his defense It's Australian dollars, so it's really only $771,100 U.S. .Kind of a steal isn't it?..lol
Some person on eBay has 44 listings, all of burned Dreamcast games that he probably got from the ISO Zone.
This is a mass wall of shame because there's LOTS of guys doing this. While you could still go to "limited run.com" and get Abe for 29.00....guys ALREADY had it up for 3 times as much on Ebay. So at 3PM pacific when the second sales of the day opened up; I had two choices to get the game..go to Ebay and pay almost $100 or just buy direct for $29.00..such a hard decision!
It is really a shame ! Fortunately, Limited Run Games allow people to buy only on copy per system, and it is a good thing to avoid ebay resellers !
Yeah that's true at least, although the description states that no controllers or cables are included so usually that means a price of around £10 for a used SCPH-102 in the UK. I know links are banned but the item number is [MODERATOR NOTE: just like giving a link!]. I think someone needs to tell him that taking a sticker from an old copy of Official PlayStation Magazine and crudely attaching it a drive lid doesn't automatically make a custom console.
You are right, this is quite expensive for a loose one. Haha, yes, he totally pimps his PSone ! Don't forget the 2 dark grey buttons !
Very true but they will if the game doesn't sell out in 24hours. Which was the case with Abe, i'm sure resellers snapped up all extra copies before many collectors even knew it existed. On a side note...Bravo for limited run for giving folks a surprise signed game of "saturday morning RPG" with a few random orders. Hopefully they'll fall in hands of collectors and not game vultures.
