I almost had a Mountain Dew edition years ago. I was online when they happened to release the very last batch. I refreshed the page, it showed available. I went through the steps, and it was sold out already. It was also the last time I relied on my ancient 56k modem. :D DSL since then

Doesn't even try to hide the fact he's a reseller.

Quick all 9 of you buy what he has left, then file SNAD "there's a scratch on the LCD" and be sure the send it back with box flap ripped like you had a hard time opening the box. And follow up with 9 negs something like "sold as new, had scratch, not new"

9 negs and 9 damaged boxes will spoil that scummy reseller.

Wow, $5K for an Amiibo is ridiculous! The seller obviously doesn't know what they have or are severely overestimating the value of it. It's probably worth at most $12.99 USD, the retail price of those things!

Wow, people really need to learn what "value" means. An NES is only worth about $40-$60 depending on the condition. That person just made himself/herself look like a fool on the internet.

Has this been posted in this thread before? Probably, but still relevant.

LOL I just bought another NES to replace one I accidentally broke off ebay for $29 shipped.

LOL, what a fu**in idiot! I mean, how embarrassing.
I just noticed a new trend on ebay where people are trying to sell NES consoles for ~$300 because of a "low serial number".... People really need to get a life

It's kind of sad for me to see people always poking fun at someone who's dead. It feels like there should be more respect.

Edit: I didn't mean to start anything and I know most people wouldn't know he's dead. It's just something about the whole thing that feels kind of sad, it's hard to put it into words.

That guy died? I don't know why you'd assume that I'd know that some random guy died.. I'm not a fan of reality show TV and don't really know about these peoples' personal lives.. It's not like they're real celebrities.

Anyway, I looked it up and yes he is indeed dead. Apparently he was a meth head and facing jail time so he killed himself. I can't really feel bad for the guy under those circumstances. And now that I know that, watch his face when he learns that the NES is only worth about $10 in the video.. He looks like he's on meth in the video. The way he's nodding his head and his mouth and eyes are twitching and shit.

Now someone like Jew Wario who was an absolutely amazing person who killed himself due to a battle with depression.. I would agree that guy deserves respect. I love Jew Wario.

It's easy to jump the gun and assume instantly that they're a shitty person just because he had ties with drugs...

First off, I didn't even know the guy was dead until it was brought up. Sorta seems like rika_chou wanted to be "that guy" and try to put himself above me because he's so noble and respectful (keep in mind, I never seen this video and don't even know the damn guy). Anyway, it's not just ties to drugs, the guy killed himself to avoid going to prison. Yeah it sucks, but those are consequences he made for himself. And I'll say it again.. it's hard for me to feel bad for the guy under those circumstances.

And watch the part in the video when he's told the NES isn't worth anything and look at his face. You're telling me that guy didn't just snort a line of meth?
