Wow, must've been a slow day at the factory. Something tells me the game and manuals inside the box aren't in good shape.
Wanna bet the game is also non working? Usually if it gets wet enough to really wrinkle the box, the electronics inside could have been rusting and/or causing cap to bust open and leak,
Hey i found this on ebay uk, think the seller maniacsmods has has taken n64 modding to the next level with this beauty, its like the n64 tony montanna would have stashed in his humudor The following text i copied from the listing sums it up: console is rough cut. i free handed everything i cut. i feel it adds a battle worn look. there are a few errors in the art/cuts. i feel it just adds character Haha character is not what i would say, anyways enjoy... Wonky controller ports, wonky cart slot cut out and appears to have been attacked by a werewolf. Not the ultimate custom mod imo
So here's a guy selling SNES minis with RGB, S-Video, NTSC-J and power LED mods for $137.99 shipped... Must be some real quality stuff right? Ummm... Are those even soldered? And did he just use whatever scrap wires he could find around the house? And to top it all off.... Look how terrible that soldering is! WTF!! I would be surprised if that even works!
There's two types of modders. One where they'll worry about how it looks and functions, and others will only mod and stop when it functions. Or I believe so anyhow
I think this guy is just trying to get some quick cash because he saw the demand for RGB mini SNES. But I mean...at least have some pride in your work. That is just awful! I messaged him and told him that his work was awful for the prices he was charging and he should think about listing his soldering iron up for sale.. He then told me, "I'm reporting you to ebay!" LOL At least he accepts offers. Maniacsmods is the absolute worse. Look at his other stuff. Garbage. $300 for this "custom" SNES $275 for this "custom" NES.. pirates of the caribbean edition or something $1200 for this "custom" spray painted N64 with a signature from Princess Leah I really hope this guy is like 12
reporting won't do squat when eBay make lots of money off shilled listing. All we can do is spread word on suspicious sellers and try to discourage buyers from bidding on suspicious seller's listing or to place bids only on the last minute. Sooner or later he won't be able to shill anything anymore.
