Don't forget about import charges if this thing get's picked up by customs, that will set you back another couple grand at least. But I suppose if you can spend $10,000 on 1 game then another 2k won't hurt.
The only game I'd spend that much on is a sealed Minotaur: Labyrinths of Crete or Operation Desert Storm
That's right, yamatoku-classic is shill bidding on eBay, here's some proof and don't just take my word for it, take a look at their auctions yourself, this shill bidding happens on most of their auctions. ---------------------------------------- --------------------------------- ------------------------------------- ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ ----------------------------------- ---------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- This shill bidding just goes on and on and on, check it out for yourself.
Thanks very much for exposing yamatoku-classic as a fraud. It must have been hard work gathering all of the evidence. I've bought several items from yamatoku in the past year and I can't think of a single listing that didn't have at least 2 retracted bids. Well, now I know why and I won't be buying from them again. Thanks again for the information!
On a much less serious note, I'm also upset that he's one of those people who miscategorizes games. It's not all "Video Game Merchandise" in fact most of it isn't.
This one pisses me off, a bunch of these were auctioned off for at least a third of this price only a few months ago. The write up claiming that a Zelda prototype sold for $100,000 is just the icing on the cake,
I have never seen SCART cable with that kind of controller. And I am pretty sure it will not work in any Sony or N64 system. Seller is probably clueless idiot.
Maybe I'm an idiot (ok, most certainly I'm an idiot), but what's so terrible about that? Yeah it needs some cleaning, but it's not as bad as the guy selling StarFox for like $600 I'm gonna assume the seller doesn't know the N64 doesn't take SCART, nor the real name of the console.
It's so beat to shit, has so many "No good" marks on it, and the floppy drive is broken. It's certainly broken beyond repair and yet they sell it.
I actually like this. It means that the people who narrow down their search to specific categories don't find their listings
@BamBoo - and a reminder to all: I have removed the links - rules clearly state not to post links. If you think someone is shill bidding, report it to eBay. They can look at the complete picture.
Amazingly, I'm having to post this already after my last reminder. NO LINKS IN THIS THREAD Anyone who posts a link will receive a warning. Let's try not to dwell on shill bidding. Ultimately, you can suspect someone, but you can't see the full picture - only eBay can. If you suspect a seller, report it. If you want to keep reporting the same seller's items until eBay, until they do something about it, knock yourself out. Or you could realize that you're wasting your time moaning about, let's face it, stuff that's not really important. If you don't like a price that an item has gone for, STOP BIDDING. If you think that a seller is shill bidding and you don't like it, DON'T BID. You don't HAVE to have that game. In most cases, another will come along. If you have some petty vendetta against a particular seller, please take it elsewhere. You've said that you feel he's shill bidding, let's leave it there. And we're talking about a seller whose recent completed items include several $1 Nintendo 64s, $17.50 boxed Super Famicom, $14 Famicom and a whole bunch of $1 games. Yes, there are high-priced items, too. Yes, some of the bids look suspicious. If people want to bid stupid amounts against the seller, leave them to it. Don't bid if you don't want to pay that much / deal with the seller.
Or wait until the last minute to bid. It's hard for shill to bid without outbidding then having to file UID to get fee back or eating the fee to keep shills from getting banned.
