Why would it be locked to japan if its a debug or is it a laser problem do you think?

 

Locked to japan could mean wrong motherboard inside. Isn't that a PAL sticker on it?

I did, but so far I haven't gotten anything done on it besides running some demos. This is because I am lazy.
At any rate, you can now use that auction to talk down other sellers from the stratosphere.

The Mass Effect 2 code claims to have expired in July (according to the image you put up), and I believe the Assassin's Creed one claims to have expired (I believe it says 01/08/2012, which is American for January 8th).

Could you confirm these are actually still valid?

Correct on the ME2 code, though apparently they still work fine (and that one has been bought already). The AC code is dated through 1/15/2012.
