It is really worth reading through all(!) the posts...someone even has a beta of that Wolfenstein...Interceptor will release various beta stuff over time...amazing times ahead ! :'D

 

Awesome for the guy to actually take efforts in trying to release old beta stuff. This Duke4.net thread is pure gold.

 

Seems like nothing got released yet... :'(

 

Let's hope they're just in the process of squaring everything away. All the concept art that's been released already has been really exciting. I'm sure with time more will be released. I'm going to continue keeping up with their forum.

 

Did I miss anything by now ? The original thread does not have any news either ?

 

I don't think so. I've been checking the thread on the 3D Realms site and I don't recall seeing anything new coming out of this.

 

I love how they labeled their test builds, stating that people are lucky to own an illegal beta copy and to contact them to provide feedback anyway. It's almost like they expected leaks to happen so covered all the bases to maximise their reward from potentially bad situations. It's little bits of inside humour like this that I love about discovering things from behind the scenes.

I kept reading the original post...seems like this will take...forever... "Duke Nukem Forever".
No recent postings of the Interceptor people anymore. It started great...

Too bad, there was a lot, ready to be explored...

People there wrote that the Wolf3d alpha was indeed compromised...ah well...

I had the Raptor betas back in the 90s by myself and now regret not having those archived.
