Dreamcast Dev Box features

I have owned a Dreamcast HKT 0120 Dev. Box for a couple years now, its fully functional, and I was wondering what kind of unique features it has.

I already know about the region settings, multi video outputs, and self check mode. I did hear it had some debugging features.

If anyone knows about any other features I am unaware of please let me know.

 

You can use the dev box to take direct feed screenshots =)

 

The obvious one you didn't specify is the gdrom emulator. But i guess you knew that.

 

Interesting. I know this may seem like a noob question, but how do you do this?

 

I know of it but I never used that feature. It didn't seem like something I would use.

 

Go into the utility folder from your Katana installation and then go into the Gfx folder. There is an app called something like DCCAP.EXE, just fire that one up and you can take direct feed screenshots
