Just thought I'd post my intro. Started getting back into game collecting after years of nothing. Used to have nearly 20 consoles but moved and had to sell it all. So now I'm just focusing on a complete PAL Snes Collection, boxes don't matter, but I do want to complete my better games like Hagane.

I live in Australia (duh), Sydney to be exact and thought it might be a really smart Idea to get an online presence happening to help with my collection...and my dream of holding a retrogaming convention/expo in Sydney because games are rare as hens teeth in the op shops and gametraders and cashies can take a long walk of a short pier for the most part.

As for my collection, I started in December and while it is small some of the better games I have so far are.
    Hagane
    Ninja Warriors T.N.G
    Saturday Night Slam masters
Castlevania Vampire's Kiss (coming in the mail)
& Turtles in Time (not entirely rare but such a great game that keeps it's value)

The rest are nothing special mainly a few platformers and theme park,Spectre and the like.

I also dabble in cheap PS2 games but most of that is just stuff like Dynasty Warriors games and Ape Escape 2 etc.

But I also look out for rare stuff so If I find anything good you guys will be the first to hear about it. I'm also out and about hunting so feel free to contact me if you need looking for anything specific as I'm always willing to help my fellow gamers.

And yeah, that's me. Any questions feel free to ask. But for now

    Later Days:D

Ouch, I've been there. Having to ditch all your collected goods. Only to realise a decade later I want to do it all again! :topsy_turvy:
Were you all over the place with collecting previously? No real limits on what consoles you were collecting for?

Yeah dipped my toes into everything. Let's see if I can remember what I had

    Master System
    Mega Drive
    SNES
    2600
    Atari 800 (that I couldn't get working)
    Dreamcast
    64
    ps1
    gameboy color
    Game King
    Gamecube
    gamegear
    Saturn
Hanimex pong game (that sadly didn't work)
Commodore 64 (similar problem, didn't know how to get any screen on my tv)

So yeah I had a few random things, probably more consoles I can't remember now too. Funnily enough I could never find a NES though.

Never find an NES? They are every where! Got mine on eBay a while back, it was so clean and perfect, I was amazed.

I just sold an SNES recently, very recently in fact. I won't miss it though, I hardly ever used it. :| NTSC is the way to go for me, american SNES look mean though!

Oh, and welcome to the boards bro!

Geez, quite a mix there! Be careful! It's dangerous not setting limits on what you collect...
You'll end up like many of us here with a house full of fun!
Or rather a house full of things-to-be-done...
Either way I guess it doesn't really matter! I need more bookshelves! :wink-new:

Well A. I wasn't using Ebay, everything was found from op shops and hock shops
and B. Now I'm just going for SNES entirely. Saves all the mess plus It makes everything so much more condensed and way less hassle.

SNES was all cardboard boxes wasn't it? :sorrow:

I haven't got a garage... which might be a blessing...
No missus to chainsaw my things either. That's definitely a blessing! :wink-new:

    Ever considered dressing in XBOXes?
Perhaps tried turning some of them into a rather smart casual jacket?

A robot bed? Wait, wasn't there an XBOX robot on some popular internet comic strip?

Are you crazy? I'm local! I'd save him all that hassle of doing up an overseas sending thing at the local PO! :wink-new:
