Hey there, I've been collecting devkits for a while now but i'm moving soon to another country so the need of cash is getting more and more real and I feel like these deserve more love than staying boxed in a storage! No idea what some are worth nowadays so some help would be appreciated as I may have to sell them soon Everything is tested and works. Doctor V64Jr 512, a minor scratch on the front. PS2 Test NTSC PS2 Test JAP, big scratch on the top and disc drive auto close itself after opening. Gamecube Reader PAL
That DVT 4 set is beautiful. I honestly have no idea what the market value would be. From what I can tell, unopened (seals in tact) kits run about $400 - $500 USD. On top of that, you have a canceled game on the kit, packaging, recoveries, and the PC side DVD emulator stuff... so I guess a lot more I just paid ~$65 shipped for the PCI card that goes along with the dvd emu so that's about where I'd value that part of the set. Years ago I remember seeing them going for dirt cheap but xbox stuff seems to be going up. Another factor is weather or not those recoveries have been dumped and made public or not. I know some form of August 2001 has been dumped and released. I see that you have three different discs relating to August 2001. I don't know if they're all unique, but personally a purely cosmetic disc is only worth $20 - $25 to me (each). Keep in mind that a lot of this is just my opinion and that I didn't value a lot of the things. What's on the hard drive in the box with the raptor PCI card? Does rainbow.xbe correlate to the US Open game somehow or is that something different? PM me if you do end up deciding to sell it. I'm pretty interested.
The Doctor V64Jr 512 is worth about $75 ish Does it work on batteries? some develop a fault where running on batteries causes them to be corrupt
I do believe that the ps2 test debuggers are worth ~$135 at the minimum. The one with the non working tray can be fixed with a new tray from a regular fat ps2, (I think) but if you want to sell the one with the PCMCIA port for a low price, like $85, since I have $100 waiting for a tool, then pm me. I'd love a test for a reasonable price.
No idea what's on the hardrive as i didn't had the chance to go through it yet I will soon though. As for the rainbow.xbe it doesn't launch so i have no idea what it is actually, could be related to the tennis game or not but as the size is pretty big it could be some other game just not launching. I will sell it through this year but I'm not decided when (and I first to meet the rules anyway) and how much so far. Yep, does work with batteries. I thought it would be worth more honestly but only prices I saw for this was ebay ones so.. Thanks for the price feedbacks that's exactly what i guessed it was worth but still good to be sure! Someone already asked me to sell him the working one but right now i don't meet the rules anyway
Bump Does someone else have an insight on how much the dvt4 set could be worth in order for me to get an idea? Thanks!
I rate the DVT4 higher due to the boxes, albeit not in perfect shape. I'd say for the whole dvt set, $700 give or take $50. Ps2 : $150 Nitro emulator: $350 since it has the box. The one most are after is the capture device which plays retail carts. GameCube: $200-$300 since it has the box. The rest I wouldn't have a clue on.
