    It's the same as a regular DECHA00A unit except the casing is different (transparant-ish) the syscon chip is also different, it's not QA flagged though.

    You can use regular DECH/DEX firmwares on it.

    No, it's not. QA flagged means the unit has a special flag stored in the syscon eeprom (tied to the idps) which enables specific (basically installing retail game packages and connecting to any psn environment) features, this functionality however only works (on most units) up to 3.55 as in 3.56 a signature check to the QA flag token has been introduced and only post 3.56 QA flagged console have this signature (even officially older QA flagged consoles from sony do not have the signature in the token)

    Wow ! you don't need to wait for me !

    Anyway, flashing any regular dex firmware to the unit should work fine.
