in the light of this, perhaps it's best to move this thread to a non-public position, so only logged-in long-standing/verified/affected users can see it. There's little benefit in having your plans read out-loud for him to avoid.

Additionally, IPs can be thrown off through proxy, so it alone cannot be verification that he's not around.

okay I just caught up with the thread, I sent another txt to david at 9:06pm est tonight. will let you know if I get any responses.

retro I will use that sample page use posted a link to the pdf, and fill out the information tonight and try to get it in the mail monday since you seem to have a perfect page setup on it.

sorry for the lack of updates have tried to give him time just in case he was telling the truth. come monday I'm going to try again and not let him know I'm mailing the letter.

okay I was contacted by david and given pictures!! I can honestly the person I was talking with was either David himself or his wife. Since Items match pictures members here sent me. Some of the messages was cut off and mixed in between other msgs but I think that is more a limit on my phone then anything.

I have the parts all through out the house. like in my closet and 2 other rooms. so its not gonna be a clear view of all the stuff. i have like 30 xbox consoles and lots other types of consoles in different stages of repair. lots of the x3 chips that I sold are in consoles and lots of the motherboards in box's. its hard to explain. anyway, in a little bit I will send you some pics of three areas and you will understand. but i do have everyone's stuff. I have not bought or sold anything since the last day i was online. i have more then 100 mod chips and a crazy amount of video game stuff. the amount of stuff that i have to ship out would barely make a dent. basically everyone's stuff is not just all together in a corner. it is still in the shuffle of everything else. I have a very accurate mental inventory of most of what I have."

Hopefully this is a great sign for everyone, I plan to give him the weekend without me contacting David, except to let him know the forums is back online and that I have posted the pictures and also the text msgs from the conversation to the group.

Wow some very nice gear in those photos. After seeing the photos and reading his messages I'm feeling more confident about possibly getting the items I paid for.

 

Finally some positive news. I still don't think that all of you are getting your items so soon, but atleast he still has them and you will get them sooner or later.

Seems to me if he has the ability to take pictures he has the ability to package some stuff up....Or am I asking too much?

Is it me or should all the pictures be the same size? I wonder if these are old pics. Wizard can you check the meta information on the originals you have. The pictures on the site here don't show anything.

 

Does he really have no access do the internet at all ? I mean, in the worst case scenario, he could use the Mcdonalds free wi-fi. It just doesn't make sense to me that a person living in a 1st world country, in the 2nd decade of the 21st century doesn't have access to the internet.
He could at least log in.

that is what I was hopeful that once we seen he has stuff still, that would make it a little easier to believe we could get our stuff back

in the meta details they all come up with 360x480, but the date is way off "Dec 31, 1969 6:59:59pm" was the format used so date was off but time is correct. But this could also be limits of my phone receiving the images (Kyocera Hydro android phone)

I agree seems odd, but he said only has his cell phone. Considering he wasn't able to be at the house with the kids screaming, I think that would also count out places like McDonalds etc. He could use Barne's and nobles free wifi if one is in his town, but then he would not be around the xbox stuff again. Almost sounds like a catch 22 loops. He could chat but not sending proof pictures, etc

Would really love the products I've paid for. The pictures are great, atleast we know you do have the things to say you do but really how hard is it to get in contact with us to send what we are owed? I want my stuff :/
