    I'm only out 100 dollars so by myself small claims is not worth my time etc. In my mind I'm not thinking of evidence purposes. I want to get hold of a family member or true friend can fill you in on the current situation. Or perhaps that family member can put a bur in Davids ass to get his shit together and take care of business.

    Otherwise the only alternative is small claims/court which I think everyone wants to try and avoid.

    He's clearly scammed you all and is just delaying now hoping that you lose interest and fall away. Next excuse will probably be his home got robbed and they took all the "packages". LMAO. Get the police involved NOW!

    It's not about what he does or doesn't remember - it's about assisting whoever is going to be sorting through his stuff to find your stuff. That, and putting everything in writing so you can go to court and say you gave him every opportunity to settle matters amicably out of court, including a list of items so a friend or relative may locate and return the items as he was still recovering.

    I agree. I think we should just take him to court. There are eight of us ( that we know of), and he has had our stuff for 6 months. Excuse after excuse and empty promises. However, we do have his home address, his phone number, his email address, his ebay account name, and his forum account name.

    He doesn't deserve any more time. Six months is plenty of time!

    I wouldn't leave it to creep to 12 months. I don't think courts would help you otherwise.

    if it turns out more than $5,000 total, split it into two groups taking him to small claims courts to keep the totals under $5000, maybe even do less to add some for travel, court costs and all that.

    I think only if he's signed up. I'm not sure if we can check guest IPs from our end.

    I've ran a quick check on his IPs. He has two IPs that he's accessed this site from. None that match a second username. If he's browsing by guest then, we can't tell as far as I know.
