Crazy earthquake in Indonesia!

These are pictures taken from an earthquake that took place in West Sumatra:

I consider this big black hole scary as well... Sumatra is not on a borderline of a tectonic plate, so this could happen on almost any other place where earth quakes occur.

Well, it could happen anywhere there's already a hole. I'm pretty sure that was already there. Tokyo, one of the most earthquake prone cities in the world, has so much underground shit. No telling where you'd turn up.

 

I told my gf that it was a portal to the subterranean people's lair... she wasn't amused :lol:

 

Seattle is much the same. Much of downtown is built upon "old" Seattle. There is an actual city below Seattle.

 

Didn't the monsters in Gears of War come from underground?
