Could someone help me identify the Xbox mods and how to use it?

I bought a Xbox yesterday and after booting it up I saw it has been modded, as it boots with Xecuter2 under the boot screen. Dashboard says RemoteX V1.8.3752 and the "MS dashboard" just reboots the console. I disassembled it but there seems to be no modchip, or at least not one that is easily recognized as foreign to the console.

 

Post pictures, and more than likely it's been softmodded.

 

Or a dual bios tsop but I think that needed a switch.

 

Or its just tsop flashed.

 

Yea if the "MS Dashboard" option only takes you back to where you just were and not to the original dash then its very likely been tsop modded.

 

From what I read of TSOP flashing it seems like it is TSOP flashed. So how would I use that? And how can I install a bigger HDD? (currently it's 80GB)

From what I read I could reinstall a HDD with a slayers or hexen DVD. I burned a Slayers one but it doesn't boot (I only get the message on menu "evoX cd!" if I put it in when its on the EvoX dashboard).

 

It's TSOP flashed as stated.
You can use Hexen as stated to format the drive... IIRC you pop in the disc, and it should prompt you to format it.

 

I like the thc dash which has an installer disc on eurasia.nu. Looks a lot like the MS dash, multiple colors.

 

Got it to work with Hexen. And found searching through it a txt on how to reinstall a different HDD.

 

It has the BIOS Flashed with Xecuter 2 BIOS>. that's a older dash.. I use Auto Installer to install stuff. but there could be a better way to update that dash.
