Correct PSU For Nintendo systems?

    Amps doesnt really matter, the voltage isnt very important as it goes pretty much straight into a regulator to drop it to 5v.

    So you could run a SNES on a PSU as low as 5v then?

    No. Voltage regulators generally require at least 1-2v above what they are designed to put out. But if 5v is the only voltage in use inside the system you might get away with running it on around 7v.
