Hey there, I just got a box of 4 90's era consoles from a friend(all of which I used to own). None of them worked, but I got three of the four working like new. Still trying to get the dreamcast running and that led me here. I'm retro obsessed right now. Glad to find this site
Snes and n64- just needed to be blown out and the cartridge slots cleaned, but was discouraging when these beasts didn't work right away. Ps1- had to fill a trough on the laser so it would sit correctly. Works great. DC- I changed the resistors and battery on the controller port and cleaned it very well, need a new laser
Good work getting everything up and running! I should learn how to do repair. I wouldn't even know where to start.
