Clone hardware - from the days of real hardware clones

This clone is very tempting...

 

If you could remember um, can it run CD-R backups (Warez) as well or just only official games? Looks pretty neat and awesome!

 

Here is a Megadrive 2 I recently got that turned out to be a clone, I still need to test to see if/how it works

Tested and working well, picture quality as far as I can tell is the same as the original with RGB Scart. Strangely the sound is actually better than the stock Megadrive 2 but no where near as good as the early model 1. Unit is running at 50hz as you would expect

 

I think so, it could run MP3's from a CD-R, so maybe? I look at least once a week on the net to try and find another. But the only one that comes up is the one I had I can remember the guy at the computer fair that was selling them, had loads, so there must be more about somewhere?

 

I have a nearly identical device. It doesn't play PS1 games but doesn't claim to either. I have lots of other things that claim to play PS1 games but are just famiclones. I've be very skeptical of any pre-Android Chinese console that claims to play PS1 games.
