just downloaded this emulator: http://www.cdiemu.org/ Tryed to start "Crime Patrol 2 Drug Wars" for Philips Compact Disc Interactive and it's gives me this error: attached. All the bios and *mpeg.rom files already installed inside of "roms" folder, so what is problem with it? There is quote from emu creator about "video cartridge": and well i was trying to rename impega.rom to xmpegyab.rom, but result was the same also sry if this is wrong topic for cdi discussion thanks
You get this error because the emulator does not (yet) emulate the digital video cartridge (DVC) which is required by Crime Patrol 2. You will get the same error if you insert Crime Patrol 2 in a CD-i player without a DVC installed.
I bought that emulator and was pretty disappointed in how badly it actually ran games. You could always try the DVD version though.
