4-pin power supplies all use the later 32-pin drives. They use a shorter, non-twisted ribbon.
64pin drives use a longer ribbon that is twisted in the middle to change the pin side.

There is a photo of the machine on page 3 of this thread - it's using what looks like the JVC EXL-P605 drive and it's 32 pin. I just checked the cable on one of the machines I have here and it's 11.6cm long.

No - the pitch is too narrow.

If you get really stuck, I can pull one of a scrap machine and send it to you, but it might take a while to arrive. If you don't mind having a grey reset button, I can send that too.

    Edit:

And, as the other poster pointed out, the Saturn cable has the contacts on the same side on both ends.

I just checked, and the full specs are as follows:

    Length: 116mm
    Stripped length: 4.5mm (each end)
Contact orientation: Same side both ends
    Pitch: 1mm
    Overall width: 22mm

On this cable, the precise marking is:

    E66085 (RU) AWM 2896 80C VW-1 BANDO-S

(RU) = UL component compliance mark, like an inverted RU
