Can I throw out an XDK without getting into legal trouble?

    I care about legal status, so i am planning to throw out my XDK. Is it OK to throw it out at a dumpster?

    That's what MS does so I see no issue. Just be sure to wipe the HDD well.

    Not sure why you'd want to throw it out but there's no real restriction I guess. E-waste is better though.

    I am double minded. I don't want to get in legal trouble, but i spent $300 on this.

    why the hell would you throw out a piece of development hardware? when I read this title I thought I read it wrong, I couldn't believe that you want to throw it away. If you have no use for it sell it, don't throw it away.

    That makes no logical seance?
    Yeah I bought this for 300 usd, but now I'm gonna throw it away and make no money from it.
    everyone sells there XDKs, even I sold and I'm still here.
    MS has no reason to go after you now that they stopped support for the 360.

    Yeah. I do have a non working Xenon, but at that point i could just flash the DVD Drive with 0800 firmware and rip retail games and play them on the XDK.
