Blinking (Non Working) Krypton Controller

As a few of you know, I've gotten in a couple Krypton controllers here. One with a bum board resulting in the left stick always reporting down, but the other one has me stumped.

Whenever it's plugged in, all four LEDs just blink, and the controller isn't recognized by anything. I opened both and they seem identical, the one that connects with the stick issue, and this blinking one. I was thinking that maybe it was fully working, but with a XeDK instead of a XDK. I really thought it would have worked with the XDK but I'm at a loss here. If anyone could provide any help I'd appreciate it.

depends on what xdk you're using. I cannot get any of my krypton or radon to work with a slim xdk.

 

Got a Jasper XDK.

 

Odd. But they're picky as hell sometimes.

 

It must be with the keys on the KV that allows the controllers to work. I had a xedk but it went up in smoke.
