Can you not do an ip ban?

 

Blacklist GMAN, so he won't be able to use his name again.

 

Was he actively trying to ban evade, or did he contact assembler with some kind of apology?

 

We can't, he is using web proxies to make new accounts. If we ip ban a proxy we end up banning a lot of other users

 

It would be better to force him to use the old account, so we can keep track of him & any n00bs will be able to associate him with the old drama.

If you force him to create a new identity then it's actually protecting him.

 

I didn't know he was using proxies. Any how I guess feedback forum is our best protection. btw can someone show me a thread where he has posted under a new account?

He is a child. Let him be angered by my proclamation and let him come up with some childish retort to make him feel like he has made me to look childish which in turn only made him look childish.

Like what smf and Mack702 said, Give GMAN the original GMANwilis account back to him and that way we all know who he is or otherwise things are just get all more confused and messy over this nonsense.

I'm not surprised one day Gman will can have this Assembler site shut down or put in virus attack if you start pissing him off. (I don't know what his capability are but I'm saying)

 

It's a scriptkiddie, if we don't pay attention to him he will disappear.

No matter the case, he was scamming and got banned. No if's, ands, or buts about it. He didn't have 1.5 nor would he even have access to it. The Team never intended on giving him the build nor does his "source" have other builds. There is no source. He hounded MrBZork on YouTube and caused the the shitstrm for 1.5 that led to The Team becoming more vocal. Many things in their project have become jeopardized because of him flapping his gums.

I support his ban 100%. No matter what he says, he is a scammer and should not be allowed to return. But of course he will claim his innocence, but it's all a lie.

 

It sounds as though you have an old quarrel with gman. I guess there is another person to add to list of people he has wronged. Honestly most of the community has bad blood with gman but, we must realize he is like herpes he won't go away. I have an idea but, I must admit I hate this proposal,,,, we could do a sonic retro style of validation. Granted though if you give sonic retro a good essay there is no guarantee that they will validate you, not to mention that sonic retro isn't very clear on what they are looking for.

 

Gman asked to come back and promised to behave.

However the site populace has the right to decide.
