On a Sidenote: THQ announced today that they doing games based on the Voltron Animated Serie from 1987.
Saber Rider is also from 1987 and from the same US Company World Events Productions.
What Voltron was in the US is Saber Rider in Europe.
I am sure that the quality of our game will be better the THQs

The Rewards Pin, Keyholder and Posters will be made after the Crowdfunding ends successfully and delivered.
The Soundtrack, Game (of course) and Consoles will be delivered after the Game is done.

I'm not sure what we are being asked to do nor the significance of the project?

 

Former Nintendo employee really likes Saber Rider... Leaves Nintendo and sets up his own company... Obtains the license for Saber Rider from the rights holders... Needs to raise 15,000 euros to fund the project... Offers numerous incentives to get people to donate (500 euro's gets you a limited ed. console/50 euros gets you a keychain and a copy of the game)... Raises required money.

From what I read, that just about sums it up. You can scroll down to the English part but it's quite a way down the page.

If they got the rights to the game and their own company, they should have their own business plan and funding too, or are the donors the investors?

Also do the donors get a return on their investment, or are they merely paying for a copy of the game in advance?

Usually when people pay money into a project like this they get x mount of revenue in return.
