    Hi all :)

Once again I ask for the knowledge of the assembler games users!

I already soldered modchips in the past, like saturn, game cube, so I'm not 100% noob in soldering, only 95% #)

Them I would like to ask, can somebody provide me a tutorial of how to get AV out for the atari 7800 ?

The soldering for this particular kind of mod is actually a lot easier than a GameCube chip IMO. Though this particular guide is strictly for a S-Video modification but has tidbits on converting it to composite (bring luminance and chrominance together into a single wire as output).

The hard part of these mods typically lies in making the cuts in the casing clean and straight whilst looking professional. At least for me. For someone less experienced in reading schematics taking the schematic and converting it into a usable board is the hard part. Wish I had a 7800, looks like I have all the parts necessary laying around.

    Hi APE :D

Thanks a lot for the link. As I can see this guys builds some kind of board and them solders it to the 7800 mainboard.

So, in theory, I could ask for somebody with more knowledge them I to build this and I could just solder it.

And by the way, creating the wholes for the cables and that kind of art is the easy part for me.

I'll be back monday with the results :))
