Yep, a simple 2 word reply on the forums with some members icons, gifs, etc make the 2 line post end up being a 90 line post because of all the jargon
revised bbcodes/board tags, a standard across most of the web! :friendly_wink: ... a sterile area for one, something that renders ALL html/bbcodes inert! (could be '[/code]' OR '[/nfo]' would be cool?!) .. somehow, not enough bbcodes here to format posts to effect... still, a forum is better than a kick in the wedding-veg! ... thanks for reading!

I for one am satisfied with what we have right now. I'm using ABP to hide the site banner, rank images etc. though, to get the site to look more minimalistic/streamlined. Wouldn't say no if that workaround would be made available as an option by the site itself. CrAzY: Settings -> general settings -> show signatures, untick, save. You're welcome.
to clarify what i was talking about... .... [/code] = similar effect as the [/quote] board tag wrapper but all bbcodes WITHIN THAT FIELD are nullified, still showing ALL used bbcodes nonetheless! (and on some boards. [/nfo] counts for the same) ... [/collapse] = a tag supplement for anything between them... hides ALL contained items within that field til depressed! (INCLUDING images/video) ^^ that one recently because i added some images to a thread and it WRECKED the site ui feedback and almost killed my computer! .... :friendly_wink: .. [edit] typo...
Actually, amiga, the point of code tags compared to quote is to be able to quote code. It retains white space, so you can use code indentations. Sometimes, it automagically distinguishes certain elements and colour codes them.
^^ ASSEMbler = AlIeN! .. i'm not debating what the specifics are, all i can suggest is look at a familiar (BANE) HTTP host, SIGN UP and post, USE the [/code] board tag wrapper and SEE what happens! .. it shows ALL html (links) and bbcodes (colours, if you like too) AS RAW and NO designations take place! .. the reason for this request is so i can post something, fully Identify it AS RAW, then when it's taken from the sterile field, it activates! (so others can just copy and past as is) i can't stress how ANNOYING it is to have links that work when they were supposed to be visible ONLY! (inactive) ... UG and BCG 'were' TWO other places that have the three board wrapper tags integrated that worked as described....:| (there's others, not comfortable mentioning)
