    I took the liberty of merging your two feedback threads APE - for some reason users with 3 letter names don't show up in searches too well. You may want to link to your feedback thread in your signature so it is easier to find as it is a ballache to search and merge the unsearchable!

    I bought a pre modded BIOS hacked Dreamcast from APE last Wednesday. It flew half of the way around the world and a week later it is now with me.

    The Dreamcast was packed in a very large jiffy bag instead of boxed which was odd at first glance, I would have assumed a small box may be mor approapriate, but the Dreamcast is for the most part immaculate and no doubt the reduced mass saved on the USA > worldwide shipping cost which I am greatful for.

    Upon opening the package I was greeted by the Dreamcast with a taped lid - very pro! The only con was it looks like he left a pubic hair taped in there too haha!

    I opened the Dreamcast up to swop out the 110v USA to 240v UK PSU which was easy enough though I did notice a tiny pice of grass or some form of dried plant by the fan so I took that out.

    I sealed the unit up, tested it with a PAL and NTSC-U/C copy of Quake III Arena as well as my NTSC-J Love Hina pre-production sample. They all load up fine. I tested it with a JUE patched MIL-CD copy of Death Crimson OX which also worked fine. I also tried reflashing the BIOS with Dreamshell 4.0.0 Beta 4 which worked NP.

    The only thing I'm not sure of is how to set the swirl to blue when loading PAL games as no matter what disc I try they load with an orange swirl - it is probably because it uses the region set in the main BIOS. I am also unsure of how to set the BIOS to read only so I am afraid to set up my BBA with it at the minute but I'll figure that out or PM him.

    It is also nice that I have an HKT-3010 NTSC-J, HKT-3020 NTSC-U and a HKT-3030 PAL-E Dreamcast under my TV now :D

    The bottom line though is I am happy with my purchase - APE shipped out the Dreamcast on the same day he was paid too which is alwys a bonus. I would be happy to deal with APE again and I hope to buy more stuff from him soon - I may have some of his BIOS chips and have a go at modding a Dreamcast myself!
