I'm updating and upgrading the hard drive, emulators etc on a buddies xbox he had modded way back in the day but he has a lit jewel like no other i've seen. (pictured below) unfortunately he can't remember who did it since it was so long ago. I would LOVE to be able to order something like this for some I plan to mod in the future. Anyone know of anyone who does this type thing?

Sadly I doubt anyone is doing those jewel mods at this point. Easiest bet would be to measure the size and get plexiglass cut and etched.

Etched or maybe cnc milled. Not sure if it works but if you can machine plexiglass on a laser cutter you might be able to do this yourself at your local hackerspace.
Either way, while I'm not a fan of tribal suns, that concept looks great!

Those replacement jewels were super common back in the day, I'm sure you can find one on ebay with enough patience.

99% of these I'd see on eBay were 420 smuk wed. Same with 360 windows.

Like ricing a Japanese car, this fad came and went.
However those who do the service still on eBay will likely make one for you.

You could mould it but you'll loose the etched finish

Well I wasn't talking about that actual design (yes, Tribal is so 90's) ...just getting something custom done in general. Hadn't seen anything on eBay, so thought i'd throw a question out to the group. Guess i'l just look around at how it was made and see what i can produce myself..

You can also try some custom PC stores. Some offer the service with cases.
