If you don't mind hentai you could check out Tears to Tiara, which a very good real time srpg by any standard.
Touhou is a bullet hell game. It's for Windows. And it's free. It's also really hard. You should try touhou.
I actually tried to collect every Japanese PC games i could find some time ago. There are games like silent hill 2, 3 and 4, MGS2, Onimusha 3, sega rally, sonic advanetures,out run 2006, space channel, shadow of memories, dynasty warriors games in the PS2 age. Back then for PS1 Age there came out games like Resident evil 1-3, D, Enemy Zero, Panzer Dragon, Breath of fire 4, FF 7&8, Metal gear solid 1 and special mission cd, Virtua fighter 2. There are also various kind of 2d fighters. For 16 bit age there arent many games since PC became only stronger after the home Computers died of like amiga or the FM towns. This gen i can really recommend buying last remnant its only 10€ now and is one of the best jrpgs this generation, at least for the pc version which got almost any issue fixed.
I have found loads of cool games to collect i was going to make a post about it as i also asked this question last year. Most people seem to answer this question with a list of doujin and tohou junk with a shit load of games you can get for just about ever over console. Ok so i have not found many actual Japanese games but Japanese releases of u.s and European games. most japanese original games seem to be on pc98/88 x68000 msx. gurumin pc (also on psp but i prefer to collect the pc copy) i have a collectors edition with book.$25 mint redneck rampage (a classic) Akimbo kanfu eiyuu Story of the Island of Silk Road star (actual retail release somewhat close to the non retail x68000 game called silkroad 2 ) Alien vs predator Trine Ushinawareshi Kodai no Hihou Technomage i have found some mac games too. i will make a post soon.
Fukkatsu Eggerland is a good one. Doesn't work too well on Windows XP and above, but if you have a Japanese 95/98 setup its awesome. I also liked the Hydlide 1 and 3 remakes.
I knew some Japanese PC Games were NECPC Games : NEC was one the main companies which developped on PC...... I'd forgotten Breath of Fire 3 and 4 were released on PC : the graphics are very different than Ps1 versions ? Also, in another topic, I searched some people which have some informations about Japanese PC Games (without counting Hentai or Touhou Games) : if you have some ones .......
