All I know is that it comes in a DIY model and a long ass waiting list is there for the preassembled model. Doesn't seem to have any spots for audio so you have to do all that yourself.
It has faster response/processing times then the framemister. If I remember correctly it only outputs up to 720p. Not a deal as long as your tv supports it. I have a dvi prototype in my hands that needs assembling. I have/had plans of building an updated switch box and was going to integrate this device into it. The audio is a bummer, but if you use a receiver then its non issue.
http://retrogaming.hazard-city.de/ossc.html There's a review for it. It isn't a full on scaler like the framemeister as in it doesn't take in any resolution signal and spit out 720p. Most stuff seems to get a straight up line doubling and then then TV takes care of the last bit of scaling. Also, no audio support.
It's a lot to read at this time, am I right in thinking this is a framemeister (but not as good) but with different features ?

A line doubler is a simpler and better suited device for 240p sources than the Framemeister. The almost zero lag has been mentioned. It also comes with scanlines support and can be configured for perfect pixel duplication (smooth scrolling with no distortions). It also has drawbacks though. Especially worrying is the SNES with its slightly slanted hsync timing. Currently some TV cannot handle it and loose sync all the time. There's hope it can be fixed in software.
