Yes, I know. I have an old Win98 laptop for this stuff. But I tried that a long time ago. I think i used Win95 or Win98. Propably I will try it again, when I have too much freetime :icon_bigg

A photo of my own PowerPaks

The PowerPak I use with my Famicom Titler is a flashcart. It is really nice that it works out of the box with the Titler, which as you know have a RC2C05-99 RGB PPU. The PowerPak have some issues with RGB modified NESes with RP2C03B/RC2C03B/RP2C03C PPUs.

The PowerPak Lite is a RAM cart and requires a CopyNES modified NES, which allows you to upload code from a PC. It has no issues with the RP2C03B/RC2C03B/RP2C03C PPUs btw There are some photos of my RGB modified CopyNES eariler in this thread:

FFE's SWCDX2 supports 2.88MB floppy drives, so I just had to install one of those for my favorite copier...

There are so many great collections here at AG! Recently I noticed however that my thread had gotten quite a numbers of views the last 6 months without me posting anything, so it inspired me to post some more

I really fancy the Famicom and HK accessories myself and was very excited when I finally got that Master Link. If anyone is considering getting a HK Famicom just remember that it outputs PAL at 50Hz (over RF without modification).

For a long time I had the Studyplay in the living room on top of a Pioneer DVL-909 with the same gold color, and my wife didn't complain, so I guess it passed the test in terms of looks. The Famicom Titler didn't....

I am afraid the quality for the Studyplay isn't the best. It's so fragile. I handle it like I can imagine I would handle nitroglycerin - always afraid what might happen I haven't really given the sound quality much thought, but it runs at 50Hz which is really annoying. The Shinco 868 is probably a better unit and does 60Hz too AFAIK

WolverineDK, thx for the kind words. I must admit that I find the FC BASIC setup pretty neat myself There is a similar setup with keyboard and tape drive for the Sega SC-1000/3000 series, which would be nice to check out one day as well .

Don't think I remember Shiggsy's tape thingy. Any posts about it? Instinctively tape drives makes me think of systems that were sold 1985ish. I grew up with the C64, ZX spectrum and Amstrad CPC, which (as you know) all had ROM BASIC and tape drives...
