    updated November 16th 2015
The XRGB-mini Framemeister is now selling from 39000 yen (airmail shipping included) with 12 months warranty and latest English firmware.

*PRICE includes shipping - Unlike other sellers, my price includes the shipping. No extra shipping charges to pay.

D-Terminal to Component / Component to D-Terminal cables also available at 1000 yen when ordered with a Framemeister XRGBmini. Ideal for connecting your PSP, PSX or PlayStation 2 to the Framemeister!!

The Framemesiter is the golden crown of upscan converters made for games and gamers. You want full scan lines from your Retro Consoles on your HD TV via HDMI? You got it with this fantastic bit of kit. And best of all, the Framemeister has an English GUI.

Here's a few pictures of the XRGB-mini Framemeister in action.

The Framemeister is very easy to set up. The default settings out of the box should suit most people.

Oooh la la! I've had one or the other on my to buy list for ages now...
What are your thoughts on the Mini vs XRGB-3?

Edit, looks like the Mini eats the XRGB-3 for breakfast... PM sent!

The XRGB-3 is a fantastic bit of kit but the mini (Framemeister) for retro consoles blows it away. No sync issues with Saturn, PS1, Mega Drive, Neo Geo, PC Engine, Master System and so on plus fantastic scan lines. I'll be doing a few pictures this weekend (they should arrive on Sunday) so people can see how good they are. I owned a XRGB-2 and then a XRGB-3 but the Framemeister does indeed beat them both. My friend who set me up with these 5 units has one which impressed me so much I'm getting one for myself too.

Well now I'm definitely sold. Well, that and the fact I just paid for one! :wink-new:
I remember watching a video on the XRGB-3 you had with all those inputs everywhere.
That got me thinking about which one to go for, then there were as you mentioned, sync / delay issues.
    But now I really can't wait! :biggrin-new:

Man, these are going fast. I'll have to see if I can get more for this price if there's enough demand.

    Thank you Yakumo

I had not read Review yet ! I will now. I guess I can enjoy playing Super Nintendo and Sega Saturn on my HDMI Montoir since doesn't have RBG input.

That was one of the major plus points for me. My big Toshiba HD TV doesn't have and VGA on it so I can't play classic consoles with scanlines since the XRGB-3 will only produce scanlines via the VGA port. The Framemeister will do them via HDMI at 420p, 720p and 1080p although the 1080p mode is a bit messed up in the latest firmware but they should have the sorted in the next update.

Way past cool! Can't wait to get it all hooked up. Got some cables on order from the UK.
Hopefully everything will arrive at the same time. Either that or I'll just composite-it until the time comes! :encouragement:

Yakumo, just out of curiosity, did you ever own an XRGB 2Plus? If so, how does it compare top the Framemeister? I'm pretty happy with my 2Plus, buts it's been on my mind to consider upgrading to the Framemeister.

    edit****

I guess I should clarify that I am fully aware the Framemeister is better that the 2Plus.

Yeah, I've owned a XRGB-2+ and a XRGB-3 but neither are as good as the Framemeister. The Framemeister doesn't have the sync issues that the XRGB-3 gave me plus it can do scan lines over HDMI which is very important for me. Playing Mega Drive in 720p is amazing. The 1080p optin has an issue with the scan lines at the moment but that will be fixed in a firmware update sometime in the future.

It's really nice, you won't be disappointed. I tried out the Mega Drive in 1080p and it looks so good but as mentioned the scan lines mess up in this mode at the moment. I also tried Saturn in 720p and again via 24pin RGB. Man that looked good. I tried the Dreamcast via Svideo but that looked total ass due to the Svideo signal. I really need to get a DC RGB cable.

Hahaha, definitely. Damn there's a lot of cables I need to get now!
How bad is composite out of curiosity?

I think it was a fault of the Dreamcast to be honest but it looked washed out and blurry to me.

My friend popped over today with 3 more units and said there's more when needed. Apparently his company bought a few dozen crates of them !!
I'd love to know how much they paid per unit.

They really are slick but yeah, quality does come at a price. I've been holding off buying one of these for a good 6 months due to the cost but after seeing one in person I caved in and bought one from my friend. I was playing Saturn on it before, again 21pin RGB in and 720p HDMI out., Man, it was like going back in time to when I had a 26 inch Toshiba CRT screen. Funny that I'm using a Toshiba HD screen now. Even more funny when I think my first walkman was also a Toshiba. Yep, Toshiba are a very good company that are underestimated by many. Very high quality goods that piss on Sony, Sharp and Panasonic as far as HD TVs go. I'm sort of going off topic though. I agree that the XRGBmini Framemeister is expensive but it is the best option for Retro gaming on modern screens. I can honestly say my Mega Drive and Saturn have never looked so good.
