Iso burn it to a disc, dvd specifically. If you run an iso based recovery it WILL wipe the HDD.
You got a pic of the dech label on back? With the side panel missing "Test" on it, it could be argued it's a retail running dex firmware.....

For sure. I just picked up that HDD on eBay last week. I need one for sure. But I did find a guy who engraved a few for me three year later back...
They only came on the HDD itself and never came on the packages of those faceplates so it doesn't really make sense....
