    Universal phantom mod chip problem

    For my modchip I use the same 5V line as my region switch. When I put the line on the PSU, it caused the system to shutdown after 20 min.

    Yes. Change the voltage regulator, and the fuse while you're at it. You will also have to replace the choke as well, if not those.
