Unless the trailer was on something other than a VHS tape when it was shown, it was not 60 FPS. Assuming it's an NTSC tape, it's only 29.97 FPS.
When you get a VCR to play it with, make sure to play a different, replaceable (blank) tape beforehand to make sure the tape won't get eaten.
