Virtuafighter 1 on model 1 was running with 30 frames i believe......the 32x and remix versions certainly are....only the ps2 10th anniversary...
I'm a huge VF Fan. And believe me there is a big difference in gameplay if you change the frame rate. The whole game, each animation and collision...
Can't imagine Sega trying something with 15 frames. All 3D fighters on Saturn show....playfields in the background is the way to go...no polygons....

the released nights engine looks quite crapy..no implemented stage design...still the 2D sonic is the same as in senns last incarnation on the pc...

It was the only way.... Wolf VF3 stages was the easiest to port...because its tekken like infinite.... Other stages maybe weren't ported because...
sonic-x treme is known for is chaos development on multiple hardware .....some say it started already on genesis...32x is for sure...under another...
thats the question. saturn was dying(outside japan), there wasn't much sense on developing another high budget title...Vf3 could have received...
Naka san didn't want that Nights engine was used in Sonic x treme. Nakayama ordered its removal....so development went on with the other...
