If its still running without video you should be able to reflash easily. I use the eurisia flash disc, that uses two discs and doesn't need video...
If you have flashed the BIOS with v16 in the filename isn't that meant for 1.6 consoles? If so probably why you have no video.

Gameshark/AR Clones dont use parallel port for connection, they use a special IO card. See here......

I would like to see ethernet over usb so long as the same tools work with it. Would be quite easy to develop tools on other platforms then too
At the moment I'm using an xplorer via parallel port and Orions modded catflap under Windows 7 x64. I have the yaroze + psyq SDK setup in DOSbox...
Id be happy with either solution. I just want a fast way to upload code with caetla without using the parallel port.
