Hello, with my Famicom that works with the Everdrive N8 I tried to play the Japanese FDS version of Metroid to check if it worked properly (I've played a lot of the real FDS version). I noticed that, while the FDS extra audio channel is indeed implemented, it seems to be too quiet. I've recorded the item recovery jingle from both the real and the ED emulated version of the game as best as I could (I'm not a professional) using my PC's line-in jack. You can find both versions of the jingle...
I then tried to run it on a regular (but still early, with a plastic cart slot) Famicom and it worked! The games load properly and are fully playable, no issues at all. I then put the cart back in the sbF and it now kind of displays the Everdrive menu, but with weird...

Just noticed a new update to the OS was released a few days ago. As I am a pretty casual user of flash carts, I have no idea what this update does. The changlog says this:
nesos-v9.1 16.04.2014
1)512K PRG for mapper 34
2)512K PRG for mapper 2
Does this mean added mapper support? Does this mean more games that will be compatible?
