I acquired a Super Ufo Pro 8 copier. I really like this copier because it's small and has a nice GUI. Unfortunately it does not have DSP support. According to the manual I have to use a DSP boot card to play DSP games. I tried Pilotwings and Mario Kart as a boot card, but that didn't work.

So I opened the unit and noticed an empty socket marked as 'DSP_74HC74' (14 Pin). I assume I can install a DSP chip here. So I disassembled my Mario Kart cartridge, but the DSP chip is much larger than...

I'm really happy with the superufo pro 8, as every game I wanted to play - works. Except one - Sutte Hakkun. I've read somewhere, that there are different roms with different checksums etc - the problem is I've tried every rom I could find in my set. Generally BS roms work on the superufo pro 8, is there some kind of method to making Sutte Hakkun work?

Hey guys,

got a couple of questions.

1. Im looking at buying a SuperUFO Pro 8 Flash cart, any idea where i can source one to AU without having to sell my pants, or have it take weeks to deliver, cause the courier had to do a stopover on Jupiter? I know its inferior to the SD2SNES, im wanting this one moreso for the cartridge dumping capabilities, and well, some gaming.

2. Are there any Hardware region restrictions? I have a region-modded PAL SNES, but i need some controllers, there...
