It will do the loading for when i try to load a number of different N64 games and black screen. Plays NES games just fine.
I've been inactive for a while and it's probably been about 20 months since I've last powered on my ED64, so that might be a factor.

What games are supported?

All games except Banjo Tooie and Animal Forest. Donkey Kong 64 and Jet Force Gemini need a crack. One source says Banjo Kazooie needs a crack, although I've been using an unmodified rom and haven't found any problems so far.

What CIC do I use?

PAL systems need a 7101 CIC, while NTSC units require a 6102 CIC. You can use a 6105 CIC which will allow you to play Banjo Tooie at the cost of some 6103 games. Use a 6102.

So, I got my donor game today and decided to desolder the cic chip for it to be ready when the Everdrive 64 comes. I have a 25w soldering iron and the problem is that I can't desolder any of the chips on the donor cart. It just doesn't get hot enough to melt the solder. And yes, I did tin it. So is a 25w soldering iron enough, to desolder a cic chip ?
Thanks for the help.

N64 Everdrive Issue

I just got my N64 Everdrive v2 so I put the latest BIOS on it and some games, but the start screen is all flickery and jittery making things hard to read. It also seems to be wider than my CRT so it can't be centered on screen. I'm using a RGB cable (N64 is NTSC and RGB modded) and regular cartridge games work, so I'm guessing it must be something with the Everdrive (setup issue maybe?). Has anyone else experienced something similar?

EDIT: I just tested a game loaded from the Everdrive...
