My complete Sega Saturn JPN fullset,1150 titles!

Finished!
6 weeks after ending my Super Famicom fullset, i ended the Sega Saturn Japanese fullset, which was way easier to achive i must admit.

Now i have the Sega Japan fullset: Mark 3,Game Gear,Megadrive,32X,Mega CD,Saturn,Dreamcast!

I have about 1150 titles (I didn't count precisely,i have some in double factory sealed, etc).

Of course i don't have ALL variations of all titles, as an example if i have Marvel VS Street Fighter Deluxe pack, i didn't buy the normal version.

And i miss many Satakore reprints since i own the original games,etc..

I'll try to get them in the future (some games have 3-4 cover variations!)

Most of the time, i tried to get the most complete version of each title (the Deluxe version then).

90% of my games do have spine cards, i miss around 110 (if somebody is kind enough to let go his spine cards, i can give you my asking list)

I miss 4-5 "softwares" & Video CD like Nissan Collection but they're coming (And for software like Wordpro Ver 1.01,1.00,1.whatever, i do own the most upgraded one, Ver 2.00 which is just fine by me :)

Thanks to the Daigirin book.

Thanks to Satakore list, which helped me complete Daigirin list (like Space Invaders&Puzzle 2X pack,Special Gift Pack et all those Koei Sets,etc..), and let me class alphabetically my games :)

Thanks to Jb for last title i needed (Mizbac no Daiboken,i offered it to him 8 years ago).

Here are the pics:

Congrats!
Didn't think it was possible considering I see Yakumo posting a few games like every week in the "Post every time you buy something"-thread ;D

Very nice.
You could do with a Navi console to polish it off though!

For sure. A sexy beast indeed (I have 3 so I know).

So given that you've completed so many collections now I have quick questions.

Which system, in your experience and/or preference, has the highest proportion of good games? (Or lowest proportion of shit games). Similarly which has the lowest proportion of good games (so highest proportion of shite)?

Doesn't that depend on what you like? A 16 bit shooting game nerd won't appreciate Dreamcast and vice versa no DC fighting game fanboy will be able to understand a PCE shmup lover.

Anyway, Adol, what you have there on your shelfs is PURE -_-
I'm after a complete Saturn collection myself (actively, but I own "only" about 250 games and 40 demos/promos yet). I can really understand why you are collecting fullsets and the joy that comes with it... and I try to catch up with you someday

BTW: Do you know any other person with a complete jp Saturn collection? Because... I don't.

/EDIT
Where/when did you buy that EMIT Value Set and how much did it set you back? I am constantly searching for it but with absolutely no results within the last 2 years.

It depends which size of fullset you're talking about.
SGX has only 5 games, and none of them is shit,so it'd be the highest level? :)

Seriously,i think the one with highest proportion of good games would be MD.Less shitty games than on SFC for sure..but 3 times less games in total..

Lowest proportion of good games?I don't own it,but i'd say PS1...damn too much shit on this system :)

To some extent yes. But I wasn't after a serious statistical reply lol. I was just asking Adol, the man who loves games, the man who loves collecting, the man who is very well placed to answer the question given all his full sets, what he rates, what he thinks is shit! I'm sure he could answer objectively (and has done so) (and I reckon he probably likes DC fighting games and pce schmups)

Good luck on your set anyway.

Adol - Sorry I should have clarified that I didn't mean supersmall sets, SGX would indeed win! MD rocks! (I reckon Lynx is a good bet too)

I don't know either, but i thought Mad from Satakore has one, since he made such complete list?

Hehe, it is hard to get on Saturn, but nothing compared to the SFC one.I grabbed it for the first time in 10 years :)
About Emit Value Set Set, i got lucky on a internet shop.it's hard to get,as all Koei combos (Nobunaga Set,SS Adventure Pack Nanatsu no Hikan&Myst,Nobunaga Value Set..I still need Sangokushi Value Set though)

I disagree about Lynx, i don't like Lynx games very much ;(
In my heart, between all those fullsets, my preference will always go to SFC,MD PC Engine and Master System.
Those 4 ones are the most important to me.
I realize i have yet to post pictures of my SMS European fullset(+ Brazilian/US exclusives)..i have for near a decade. My twin needs to take pics :)

A complete Sega fullset (Mark 3,MD,GG,32X,MCD,Saturn,Dreamcast) should probably mean something to you, Segafreak! :)

(right there is SG1000-SC3000,but i was too young to play those games..maybe 1 day :)

What was the hardest to complete when you personally collected them? I'm guessing for many it would have been easy(ish) as you got lots at release time?

And if you had to go for a full set now, from scratch - zero games, which one do you think would be hardest? I imagine you must have lots of items you might never see again!

Hardest would be PSOne,over 3000 games IIRC.
Japanese GB&GBC fullset complete in box would be hard as well.
